  • Next door neighbour has a season ticket, he’s missed quite a few games this year because of the time it takes getting to and from Wembley. I’m guessing for the NE London and Essex crowd it’s quite a trek getting across vs, a train to Tottenham Hale/7sisters and a short walk.

Someone I know is a season ticket holder as well. For each game not played at New WHL, he gets a pro-rata refund into his THFC account. He can then use this credit to buy a ticket for the same match at Wembley.

I don't know the full details, but I think that the Wembley prices are graded depending on the opponents/competition (eg Barcelona & Man City would be in the top band, and Cardiff would be lower), so he saves money on pretty much every game because the tickets are cheaper than the average per game cost on his season ticket.

I'm sure he can't withdraw the cash, but the 'profit' will go towards paying for tickets not included in the base ST price - like cup games.
