Maybe one of these 'Nite' watches? My wife's grandad has one that he swears by. It's really substantial feeling and the luminosity tech is quite interesting.

There's one of those Steve Irwin Citizens on time factors I think. The Royal marine special Ed.
Pretty sure they are only 40mm, but very legible.
