Some people think they are amassing thousands of Q. The truth is that they are only getting "Q rewards" - think of them as airmiles with an airline that doesn't yet exist.
Q rewards will become convertible to Q at a piecemeal rate once they can find some suckers to actually buy Q for cash. These buyers will get a discount, so to keep parity and pay "charges" the release of Q will have to be slower than the take up $. All this is to be managed seamlessly by The Committee.
