Went to the Adam & Eve and really enjoyed it. As rough and ready as I like pubs to be, without being grotty. They've kept a good amount of originality without it feeling contrived. Good mix of folk inside and good atmosphere - gloomy without feeling cold or dark. Aged steak burger - which you could immediately taste was aged, which doesn't seem to be a given - was good value at £13 with homemade fries. They do deals through the week so I could get two for £14 tonight. I will definitely be going back here whenever I can.
