    I work for one of those (130,000 staff worldwide), the head of HR here said that if you don't have a visa they won't even accept application let alone give you an interview.

    dont have a visa = not be a british citizen or dependant of someone who is sponsored by an employer i.e. they won't sponsor a visa for anyone which is bonkers when you think about the size of the organisation

  • Yep and new employees may be hit, because they cannot prove their status thanks to this shamblecluster of the government.

    I am not sure how my employer deals with visas as I've never been in that boat. But we have people from Sri Lanka/Jordan and not just EUwans.

    We did ask HR for help but nothing yet. But then HR doesn't know what the F is going on either, Settled Status is not yet rolled out AND they don't give you anything physical, just an online number.

    What can go wrong...
