90s Couriers/Messengers - Name to the Face?

Posted on
  • I randomly came across this tucked in an old Magazine from 1993. As far as I can remember it’s a project someone was doing that I used to pick up from.
The only names I can remember are Dave and Paul. I’m in there as well with hair!
Think I was at A-Z at time or possibly Creative.
Anyone see themselves in there or can put a name to the pics?

  • Next bike ride im going on, I'm wearing my girlfriend's sweaty betty leggings....

  • Shouldn’t this be on Moving Target? >>>>>>>>>>

  • I saw this (subtitled or dubbed in French) when it was broadcast on TV in the early/mid 90s. Being both into Marvel comics and MTBs I thought it was the coolest thing ever (I was around 13 at the time).
Years later, I remembered the X-Men bike messengers of NYC, but the life of me I couldn't find any reference of this anywhere. So CSB, tl;dr thank you ever so much for that link.

  • pretty much my experience of this also, although without the french dub - i lapped up all this and got a mtb because of it,
shit i miss the late 80's and 90s

    great link! @Tijs

edit: steve the greek - i love you man.........

  • Skully, Moving Target hasn't existed since Bill met a well to do older lady with a family and suddenly found himself living the middle class dream life that he had long dreamt of. Consequently he started a blog which lasted, like all blogs, for about a month.

  • Thanks for reposting this. I remember watching this on TV as a young teen. Fascinating.

  • Completely missed the replies to this.
I had a couple of Konas, a Marin and a Raleigh DynaTech (that I still have).
From what I remember the usual setup was thumbies, 26” slicks and cut down bars. Not a lot of fixed around.
My usual plot up point was St Annes Ct.
I actually met my wife and one of my best mates through couriering!
