    Paint rained on it from a great height, every external surface has been affected.

    Except it wasn't paint, it's a substance used to treat concrete to protect it for 25 years. So it's pretty permanent and a jet wash removed nothing. Roof, doors, lights, mirrors, trim, glass, wheels, wipers, sensors, panels, grill, bonnet and boot... Everything.

    Cost of repair is so high that it's a write-off. The car is fundamentally sound and has not been involved in any collision, it's just decided to be modern art.

    Insurance are just going to replace it with another new one.

  • Is it worth looking in to second hand parts and a paint job?

    Maybe if someone else buys it.
