Battaglin 87 World Champs pursuit track frame - Loooow Pro

Selling on behalf of a friend who was a pro rider and mechanic through the 80s and 90s, it was a genuine Team frame and he has a few road pursuit frames too.

Frankly bonkers Battaglin track pursuit frame, original paint but sadly without a fork, panto'd BB, head tube lug and seat stay caps, Gipiemme horizontal dropouts and remarkable curved and brazed top tube to seat tube junction. Size is a 59cm (just waiting for actual dims) and the 87 World Champion decal refers to Stephen Roche's success on Battaglin that year. For 700c rear wheel and 650c front.

£300 - Collection in Twickenham or can no doubt be boxed up and shipped to wherever the heck you are in the World at a cost.

Also, the paint scheme is from Columbian pro team "Pony Malta - Avianca" - apparently this frame was little used cos there was no one tall enough on the team, it was disassembled some time around 1992 when the team switched to Colnago.

It was rescued as a frame only, the original fork was probably used with another frame butpost 1993 it has been like this. Hopefully the barely marked dropouts should indicate it's had little use.

Size update: '58' marked on BB shell, but the seat tube is actually 64cm centre of BB to top, would have obviously been used with a very short post though.

Any chance you can post a pic with wheels (if you have a 650 fork, of course)?
