  • Completely obsessed with Kingdom Come: Deliverance FYI everybody.

  • Finally retrieved my copy of RD2 from my neighbour, now to start the install.

  • finally reached the top 10 players on my phone CCG with my almost unstoppable Annunaki Arsehole deck.

I pride myself on the fact that i haven't spent a penny on this game in nearly a year.

    I have wasted my life.

  • Worth it for FH4 alone but I already have both...

    Solid deal.

  • RD2 loaded played the 1st mission and struggling with the controls, having just played Horizon Dawn Zero where the control was really fluid this seems really laboured my dude seems to walk with a permanent stoop. Still the scenery is amazing

  • The controls in RDR is the most annoying thing about the game.

Normally I get used to controller setting real quick, but this one is really confusing - even after many hours.

  • For example: How do you steady your horse when it's startled by something nearby? The game told me once but I've forgotten and feel like it would take me an era to find a controls screen that tells me.

  • Left stick click I believe.

  • What is killing me, is when I’m donating items in the camp to the box and gathered 40 items, you have to hold A for a second to confirm that you really want to donate it. There’s no option to “give all” like at vendor or somewhere else. Also after giving 10 items, you just get kicked out from the inventory and have to go through the process again.

So insted of giving away 40 items within 20 second, it takes you about 2 minutes.

  • Accidentally payed a $250 ransom. I find the controls fine, coming from gta. There’s a lot of new controls like holding L2 to talk to people - or accidentally aim at them.

  • Struggling to learn to drift with Toque drift, anyone got it?

  • It's enjoyable so far, but there's no way I can get stuck into playing 4/5 hours at its current pacing

  • Ransoms dont go away so you'd have had to pay it at some point.

only way out of it is to get caught with less than the bounty money on you (need to commit a minor crime to have the option to surrender) and they'll take all you've got and lift the bounty when you leave jail.

  • Thanks, wasn't aware you could go back to the asylum!
    Now in Painted world.
    Thanks for the tips

  • Freaks, not even a Nintendo game... I lasted about half an hour on the first game before I got bored...

  • Halfway through Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Solid gameplay so far but the puzzles are not what they could be, there is not enough combat and the story is so shonky - a mashup of elements of the last two games. Given the source material they could have done so much more with this.

  • Is this your first playthrough? If so, i'd highly recommend doing it blind. Second playthroughs are the ones for getting all the things, going to every area etc

  • Have you sat down and played some Farkle yet?

  • Ah crap, really?

I've got ransoms all over the map and it's going to cost me an arm and a leg to get rid of them!

  • It's the Wild West you'll "earn" enough to pay them off if you do some of the story missions.

Also if you don't want to ride deep into a territory with a big bounty on your head to pay it off you can go to any on the post offices on the map and pay from there, helps avoid bounty hunters attacking and forcing you to jack the bounty even higher.

in other RDR2 news, found myself in the middle of some real hill have eyes shit with almost no visibility. scariest game sequence for a while (well since I first encountered wolves by riding into 3 packs at once and being chased across the map by over 10 of the fuckers.

  • Yeah that's true. I've still got a $250+ one on.

I also completed the mission in blackwater, took me a couple of attempts as the first time I rode over the bounty hunters came en'masse and done me in.

Upgraded the camp last night and did some fishing, which by the way is pretty addictive.

  • I also completed the mission in blackwater, took me a couple of attempts as the first time I rode over the bounty hunters came en'masse and done me in.

same for me on the first go, was spotted from outside of visible range and immediately surrounded as i got to the mission icon.

love a good fishing minigame, and just found the place to buy all the various baits/lures so can have a proper crack at it, but I really dislike the twirl the thumbstick to reel in mechanic, it works fine going slowly but trying to spin it fast is awkward as fuck . hooked a mammoth fish last night but it eventually got away after about 10 minutes and my hands were like arthritic claws from trying to hold the pole up and reel in and steer the line fast enough to stop it just swimming back to other side of the lake.

  • I'm the Farkle master.
