well, I did 250 miles on it singlespeed, the gearing(38X15) was fine with a load on what hills we have on the south coast. The issue was how slow it felt on the flat, it was just too spinny.
Looks great! Singlespeed not ideal for cargo bikes, especially when gravity and heavy loads combine. You'll be able to pull away from lights nice and quickly now without spinning like a bastard on the flats... Enjoy! Our cargo bike makes me smile every time I ride it :)
