The company I work for manages a collection of buildings on Holloway Road which comprise new workspaces, a joinery and a theatre company. Facing Holloway road we have 2 small retail spaces which could make a neat cafe with workshop and outdoor seating.
Our idea is that these spaces would be the front-of-house to the site helping direct guests and deliveries for which we could offer a base salary. The turnover of the cafe and workshop, however, could be upside income to an individual with the freedom to develop a brand and a business.
Clearly, we don't have it all worked out but this is an attempt to reach out and see if anyone has an appetite to make a new business work with the advantage of a subsidized income and limited capital outlay.
