Don't think an e46 could gobble 4 bikes, a 10 man tent, general camping equipment and a father in law, then drive all the way to Norway and back.

My 850/V70 took 5 polo bikes, 5 adults, extra wheels and other things in a flight bag on the roof, Glasgow to Bristol and back. Still just scraped 40mpg too.
