Utfs is no use as its just full of people sobbing over the almost identical but totally different chain driven 4.2v8s in their s4's having to come out due to failed lifters. As amusing as this is it makes finding info about the s6 tricky.

I have done this by shaping blue foam and dissolving it out.
As others have said you’ll need to put a resist on the blue foam, I used parcel tape with good results also

Use a thick layer of gelcoat on the finished piece and get that smooth. It's easier to get the finished product smooth with a bit of sanding and bodging than it is to make the mould/buck smooth and transfer that smoothness to the finished product.

(@danstuff realise its totally different engine but maybe you have heard rumors)
Soz. Mr Audi does all my Audi fettling to date, and I leave it all to him. I'm about to defect to Unit 20 for the oil seal replacement/remapping/limiter removal and possible turbo swap, but I'm still leaving all the hard work and thinking to someone else.

Yeah, that's a reasonable idea - a good gelcoat on the inside, you can always sand and clearcoat the outside for aesthetic properties

Went to the Caffeine & Machine opening this weekend. If I lived more local I think I'd be there every weekend.

i'm envious. I couldn't go this weekend because of other commitments but it looked amazing

It was a bit of luck actually, I didn't know it was this weekend, and we just happened to be at my sister in law's in Warwick. I was browsing Instagram and saw it all going off so I thought it'd be a nice wholesome family activity to take part in on Sunday, so we went down, had some coffee, and saw some cars.
There was a really nice selection of cars and bikes there, and the Volvo even got a bit of love.

And in another stroke of luck, I managed to find the wheels I've been looking for in the size I wanted. It's taken about 5 - 6 years to find a set for sale in this size! They were handily located about 45 mins from my sister in law so a little trip on Saturday to pick them up. Guy who sold them to me has a 500bhp Almera which weighs just under a tonne. The video he showed me can only be described as "savage".
Managed to squeeze the wheels into the boot along with all the baby stuff.

Have you checked all the wires and connectors?
Can you software do live data?
-
• #44920
the screengrab in OP is live data for cam angles. I have not checked engine speed sensor or cam sensors, but unlikely to be cam sensors as it is engine wide code, not bank specific. I'm not getting signal drop out in live data either, just implausible correlation, which is normally timing issue, but there isnt a timing isse that i can see visually or in the data.

Jag XJR-15?

Yeah, didn't hear it running sadly, would liked to have heard that V12, but it's always nice to look at. I've seen one a couple of times before, not sure if it's the same one that gets wheeled out at every occasion or different ones.

When I saw these on insta I thought they looked bigger and so were for the Volvo/something else.
They'll look great on the MX. Proper wheel porn.

I would like a matching set for the Volvo, but I need to not spend money for a while.

Tried to see the data when the car is running. See if there anything different.
Also, code is NOT bank specific so almost certainly not cam sensor related, as there's 2 of them and it would specify that (I'd have thought?) but coild be engine speed sensor or loom related?
