my gf just shared this on facebook.
Does it drive anyone else mad when they see this kind of "hurr durr, having opinions/caring about things is stupid, we can sell you any old shit and you'll eat it up just to stick one to the experts because you're too stupid to care/know the difference or realise we're literally doing the bare minimum needed to call ourselves a coffee shop".

You just carry on pouring so it overflows all over your hand

Yes, this shit can fuck right off

Short fill for smaller drinks, that's about all you can do.
-

We'd just pour the right size drink and leave space if the cup is too big. Don't think I've ever had anyone give me a cup that was smaller than what they wanted 😅

The Sigg 300ml insulated flask is very nice to drink from. As far as actual reusable coffee cups go, the Rivers Wallmug is the best one I've found so far, though it's not designed so much to drink without the lid on.

Wow, that's stunning, has it arrived yet? Well out of my price range. Look forward to a review.

Always liked the SIGG stuff though for this purpose it's not suited -
I might be a coffee addict but drinking straight out of a bottle is a bit much, haha.
Also coffee places won't be able to fit this unter their machine.Rivers Wallmugs take away cups look nice,
not a fan of drinking coffee out of plastic things though, also would prefer it to be just 200ml-ish.Seems like the Kleen Kanteen tumblr is the best option for me so far.
Not enthusiastic about the design to be honest but form follows function I guess.. -

Not arrived yet, but should be here by next weekend. I seem to remember you’re local, so once I’ve got it dialled in, you’re more than welcome to call in for a coffee to have a look.

Yeah I've just realised I was being an idiot, as usual. I was thinking that if it's an espresso or filter you're timing or weighing, but if it's milk based, how are you going to know how much milk if it's too big, but obviously people who make a cortardo or piccolo are regularly doing that so it's not really a big deal. It's ignorance on my part because I don't really have any knowledge of barista technique!

What an offer! I don't covet much but that looks ace. A true thing of beauty.

I assume you have the regular (not the "ONE") version -
do you drink from it with the plastic top / tea-thing in place, or do you remove this? Can one permanently remove the plastic top / tea-thing, and still be able to tightly close the bottle?
-

You take the little tea strainer bit out if you're not using it. I drink from the "lower lid", as it were. Nice rounded shape. You do have to have both on but you could equally take both off at once drink straight from the flask.

So what you're saying is I have to have both on but could equally take both off?
: ]To make it more clear (finally found a picture that shows the thing)
You say you can drink nicely from the dark (plastic) thing?
One can also remove this and drink from the white (metal) bottle?
Can one leave the plastic thingie at home and still be able to close the bottle tight or does the plastic bit act as a "seal"?
Thank you!

Precisely
does the plastic bit act as a "seal"?
Yes, you can't just screw the top bit into the flask.

I have one - great for around the house/walk to work etc, and does a good job of keeping coffee warmer than a normal cup would. As its aluminium it's very sturdy and gets lots of complements for looking cool. My main gripe is that they don't have some form of closure over the drinking hole a la Keep Cup etc because as CYOA says, it can slosh if you're in a rush. I've been thinking about how I could try and get something 3D printed to do the job, because then it would be pretty ideal.
