    I did my first "full" season this summer and learned a lot - notably that I found fixed more fun.

    I had sworn off screens, but one time I borrowed a bike with a Garmin on and found that really useful. No idea about aero shit. I just buy stuff that looks fast if I can afford it. What else?

    I actually put more effort into finding and scouting out local club 10s. I guess it's part of the history of the sport, but they don't exactly make this info easy to find.

  • 'Novice' being the key word here ;) Only done 2 TT's before a few years ago although the nauseous feeling immediately afterwards is still quite vivid. That and being told 'We thought you got lost' by the timekeeper... got to love local clubs encouraging young riders.

    Personally I've always wanted a fixed TT bike as they do look mean but my local 10 has a long incline and don't think I've ever seen a fixed rider, so possibly not suitable.
