Has anybody had a battery replaced under Apple’s discount scheme?
My iPhone 6 is useless ATM but apparently they’re replacing batteries for $29 (or local currency equivalent) until end of December.
Just wondering if they’ll need proof of purchase because mine is second hand.
Yep and no proof of purchase needed, took about an hour in total.
I took in an iPhone 6 that I got from a relative for a battery change. No problem at all, they in fact gave me a whole new iPhone 6 because the battery had expanded meaning they couldn’t replace it.
