Yea those look sexy.
Haven't ever used one though, and probably never will as they're quite rare and expensive.

The original S/S2/S3/SP aren’t that expensive (relatively, for rangefinders anyway). Japanese ebay sellers seem to be selling them at £500+

Have been thinking about buying one for a while. Old Nikon stuff is really well made, and the black paint ones with a bit of brassing look gorgeous

Definitely.
Though I suppose if I were to buy a proper rangefinder-type camera I'd rather save a little more cash and get a Leica M6.
