No it's not. "Campy" is an American affectation that unfortunately took hold with the brand itself.
And don't get me started on English-speaking people talking about "gruppos".

The TV presenter who does the football here insists on pronouncing every single foreign player's name 100% correctly... Makes me wince every time, other than that she's fantastic...
Giada Dr Laurentis is another one that just has to pronounce EVERY Italian word like she's having a fucking facial seizure... I can't watch her anymore...
