We went to a fireworks competition recently with display teams from all over the U.K. Apart from appallingly bad music it was awesome.

Actually I don’t mind proper displays. It’s the crap diy efforts in back gardens every sodding night for about 2 weeks around this time of year. Such fun if you have small children and/or a pet.

Ps: ‘appallingly bad music’? Who doesn’t like Jean michel Jarre?!

Totally agree, my dog has always had a serious problem with fireworks/thunder etc. His hearing is now failing which, in a way, is a bonus so we'll see how the next week goes.
