  • If anyone sees this let me know too. I know @user77318 and will be able to help get it back if quick/urgent help is needed

  • The number of D locks getting sliced off with grinders is actually unreal.

  • Yep, that’s what scares me most...

Now even on quick shopping lock ups...

  • I have to agree - it's shocking. 😢

  • My back wheel, a 26" halo hub, t2 halo rim, black with an 11 speed shimano slx cassette, my shimano slx shifters and hydraulic brakes levers and calipers and rear derailleur all slx were stolen on Saturday from Deptford. If anyone sees anything, distinguishing feature is that they left the left hand shifter. Anyway pm me if you see anything like that please.

So frustrating, 2 more bikes stolen last night from same place, "secure car park" under my building.

  • Sorry to hear this, was me that sold it to you a few years back. Spotted it outside the white hart in stokey a couple of weeks ago and was glad to see it still in the area. Will keep an eye out and hope you get it back!

  • Innit. People don’t want to get involved, cos the wee fucks doing it are often tooled up and someone else’s bike ain’t worth getting shanked over.

    sigh

  • Just had an interesting experience, witnessed two guys on Boris bikes park up either side of a poorly locked MTB outside the Halfords on Mile End Road. I'd just unlocked my ride from beside said MTB and as soon as I vacated the neighbouring rail these guys moved in and sandwiched the MTB. Obviously this seemed weird and they looked sketchy so as I walked away I watched them and noticed one of them had bolt cutters poking out his rucksack. Anyway I stopped nearby pretending to be checking my phone when one of the guys noticed me watching and told me to mind my own business. He went back to his mate, who then got the bolt cutters out and started waving them about threatening me with them, even though there were loads of people about. Anyway luckily a security guard from one of the stores noticed what was going, came over and told them to clear off, but the way these guys were so casual about it amazed me. Broad daylight infront of three big stores right by the entrances, CCTV directly above and they were totally relaxed. What a world...

  • Recently had my 2018 Arkose 4 stolen from bike store in a gated development in Brixton (I say recently, I noticed it was gone today but could have been any time in the last few weeks). If anyone sees a bright green Arkose with or without a rear rack, and with an obviously mismatched rear wheel/tyre (front is standard gumwall WTB riddler), give me a shout. Here's hoping insurance covers it...

  • eugh, it happened again...

If anyone sees a 60cm Dolan FXE with two different tyres (rear with a blue side stripe), one tiagra and one shimano brake, shimano combination pedals and some small tears in the saddle, please let me know (07851480054, david@eave.io) so I can try and retrieve it. Clearly any of these parts might have been changed so I'm not holding my breath, just adding to the stats. Also, if you recognise any of the three perps from this video tell them they are scumbags - I actually got cctv footage of the theft this time.

  • Thanks, David, that's a very interesting video. Sorry about your loss. Hope the footage helps the police identify them.

  • This ad has no detail and looks suspiciously cheap. Any cycle-training groups missing a trike?

  • Anybody lost a gun metal grey surley steemroller with rear facing dropouts?

Seen at a london bootsale, partly dismantled with a blanket on top of it. I didn’t think it needed warming up

  • Just checked out that Instagram, dude has serious skills!

  • A pals new-ish carbon hybrid was stolen a few days ago in Clapham :(

I know it'll be hard to spot a stock bike like this but if anyone does please throw a lock on it and get in touch by DM! alerts are ON

I've told them to check brick lane on Sunday morn/ebay/gumtree/and near the crime scene because you never know...

*I attach a picture which is the exact bike as my stolen one, in exactly the same colour scheme. The full name / details are listed below :

2016 Scott Solace 30 Flat Bar disc XL
    Frame no. : SGR01F25815050723B

Other distinguishing features / marks are PINHEAD through axle locking wheel nuts on both wheels, a PINHEAD locking seat post bolt & a PINHEAD locking handlebar nut. Basically if the person that has the bike gets a puncture – they can’t take the wheel off !*

We all know that they probably can and/or don't care, and will flog to someone unknowing...

It's just awesome when bikes are recovered, especially through the lfgss community so here's hoping!! 😊

    Pic:

  • Bike was nicked last night from corner of Shenfield Street and Kingsland Road in Hoxton.

Giant Omnium frame / fork / post (bought from @Sumo a few years back), had Easton XC 70 risers, Black Thomson stem, Black omnium cranks, matte grey Sugino S-cubic chainring, a glaring blue Fizik Arione ‘test’ saddle and black unbranded rims w/ braking surface, front to dura ace hub and rear to miche primato track hub.

    Happened about 20.15

I don’t have any photos to hand, but will have a dig and try follow up with some later.

    Any leads much appreciated!

  • Cunts!!!

Nice bike i usually see the rider wiz pass me on Holloway Rd with the Who5dat plate

  • how was it locked?

  • Kryptonite mini D through frame and front wheel to a railing, they ground it off no problem by the looks of it...

  • Aw man that sucks. I really liked that frame.

  • @G I’ve just seen two guys nickning a bike in Hoxton with a battery powered angle grinder. Broad daylight! The accomplice was actually having a conversation with two passers by while holding a Santander and Ofo Bike (In case his mate didn’t get it). By the time I realised they were off. If anyone needs me to identify them I can. The bike they stole was a Claude Butler road bike. If the person who’s bike this was sees this -please get in touch. I’m sorry, I wasn’t quick enough to catch them. Ed 07454119164
