Yeah it’s annoying as I don’t have a road bike anymore but tbh 99% of my riding is solo/with partner so rarely an issue.
Sometimes I wish I had a crosscheck or straggler instead but then I remember how mellow the lht is.

It has 41c gravelking sk, sks guards and hideous tri bars for touring...
Has served me well for nearly 10yrs now. Just a few chains, pads and a set of rings over the years. The dura ace dt shifters were a great choice- infinite bar swaps with easy recabling.

Hideous tri-bars redeemed by the awesome Karrimor luggage...

I’d kill for the matching saddle and corner bags for that set...

That is sick!!!

It's the long chainstays making it feel unresponsive I reckon.
It's everything, the touring bike geometry isn't designed for a spirited ride, they're designed to be as boring as possible to enable people to get from A to B while carrying massive quantities of items they don't need in several lifetimes.

Probably easier to ask Swifts Industries to make a matching set without resorting to murdering like a pair of scouse.

I have never ridden a Surly Trucker, but I like how stiff my Intec feels. And with 55mm tyres on 30mm internal rims at 2 bar, it really rides smoothly.
The tyres helped massively, on top of the fact that when under laden, the tyres felt nice and normal at slightly higher than normal pressure.
I like the look of the Intec, like a cheap alternative to the Thorn Sherpa.

I'm thinking off replacing my vagabond daily with another Intec M1 - it's that good and the geometry just suits me.

Just built my CDF. Needs guards, rack and new saddle! But it's aight.

I think its just an optical illusion because the cable/hose makes it look 0 rake straight

Three flaps! A first, I'm sure.

Clearly I'm behind the flap curve. Soz.

It's for reversing I believe. Keeps your bollocks dry

Love that
That's exactly my problem with my Kona Sutra. It's the long chainstays making it feel unresponsive I reckon.
