  • Just been reading this Thread, and was quite pleased to see some fellow two wheeeelers taking down a racist Bigot so I kept on reading it until here!!

Myself and my mum absolutely LOVE Grace Jones, she's my hero and all we listened to as kids growing. This year my best mate got married and the Hen party theme was 'dress as your heros' mine naturally was the Grace.

I had to use tonnes of Dark makeup to get anywhere near her beautiful Island live album cover but I got close, went out around the city and had an amazing day pretty much celebrating how amazing grace Jones was with every person I met.

The problem this thread has is people have literally spent their entire weekends trying to prove that a bunch of cyclists in the north are part of a right wing movement purely based on fancy dress and all this made me think was, that if my picture was on here before and after my costume bronzing and people were saying I should be HUNG as had been said 3 or 4 times. I would be scared and very alarmed!
Also if someone joined my Hockey club and they we a know racist, it wouldn't make me one.
Even worse if someone posted my grace Jones picture and linked me to the known racist in my hockey club, I would be steaming!!
Fair enough let's go for racists brands like this appears to be but why totally kill any credibility by trying to prove people in fancy dress are the KKK!
Also wishing people to hang for applying their girlfriends foundation is pretty fucking shitty behaviour and is more in line with the KKK than any bike rider I've ever met around london!
I can also see that on here if anyone goes against the mob, they get called out and hammered for being fake so my number is at the bottom if you're lonely whilst searching for other fancy dress violations.
I hope you can turn this round to where it was at the beginning 'credible'

  • And regardless of "your experience" and "insight" ... blacking up is invariably racist, whether someone is too naive to not understand that is neither here nor there
