    My comments were based on the difference between EN14781 (racing cycles) and EN14764 (city and trekking cycles). They have been superseded by ISO 4210*, and I don't know which parts have carried over exactly. Because we live in a free and democratic society, we are not permitted to have free access to the text of the laws by which we are governed, and I'm not splashing out £120 just to find out.

    *"This part of ISO 4210 does not apply to...bicycles designed and equipped for use in severe applications such as sanctioned competition events, stunting, or aerobatic manoeuvres"
    I guess the aerobatic ones are regulated by the FAI 🛩😀
