Good job. I wanted to say something similar but didn't want to face the backlash.
I also wanted to say that low speed is absolutely not the same as low risk. The fact that you're only riding at 20 mph doesn't mean you're safe. Your riding is only a part of the equation determining how likely you are to fall off and land on your head.

(Anecdotally- I've had better outcomes after 2 broken helmets than the 1 accident I had without a helmet.)
