I'm sorry but I really disagree. It looks, to me, like someone with fake tan on.
I don't know anything about the De Monte thing, so instantly it does look like blackfacing amongst the rest.
Man from Del Monte? Didn't recognize the costume-immediate impression is blackface.
This, especially since it's also a similar shade to the dodgier Rasta one from that photo below;

I didn’t get the costume when I saw the photo at first either but neither did I think ‘blackface’ when I saw it.
I guess it’s subjective and when taken in context with the other photos it was posted with, it doesnt look good.
That there was still cries of ‘racism’ after it was explained that the guy was dressed up as a white bloke isn’t a good look either though. In my opinion.

I can't see the pirate one properly so not including that, but from left to right.....Mr January Jim Davidson is fair of face....oh hang on, Krusty the clown, Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics, Percy from Blackadder, a horse as a zebra, Bill or Ben the flowerpot man, The man from Delmonte who actually looks like Rab C Nesbitt after being vegan for 4 years and living in Spain, Osama Bin Lad'en, Swampthing?, and some Amish dude with Spock ears, oh hang on that's Vincent Van Gogh right?
Poor Vincent, a lone BBC4 culture beacon in a sea of ITV twats. I'm guessing this photograph was when Vincent realised the rest of his club were not the kind of dudes he wants to hang with, they look like they like a good hanging this bunch.... I bet Vincent doesn't show up to this years party.

No one that has jumped on the bandwagon of ripping into the guy has offered any proof that the fake tan was even related to the costume. Maybe the guy just likes fake tan.
I'd like to echo the sentiments that have already been aired that picking on the Del Monte costume wearer is only distracting things away from the guy who definitely is doing blackface plus the other dodgy costume wearers.
I'd even go further and say that it undermines the entire thread as it looks like we are now searching around for the scraps of something to be outraged about.
