Are you a Boring Spreadsheet Bastard like me? Do you spend hours researching frames on the internet? If so, do you want to help me populate a spreadsheet of gravel/functional/monstour frames for the forum? Just to list things like price, tyre clearance, axle type, frame material, owners on the forum (for questions) etc. It could be a great community asset that we could leverage. With a bit of spreadsheet wizardry you would be able to filter it too, to find e.g. all steel frames under £400 that clear a 700 x 40 tyre (Genesis Vagabond, Kona Rove according to my current data).
I already started doing this a while ago for my own devious/boring purposes but it's really a whole lot easier to fill in if you actually have the bike yourself, my mental capacity is too low to remember every frame manufacturer out there, and it's all focussed on what I like which is discs/geared/cheap, so I'm opening it up to you guys.
I'm happy to share it with everyone once it's a bit more comprehensive, but I also don't want to give write access to anyone on the internet, so it needs a bit of thinking about how that's going to work. I am also not willing to put a shitload of effort into this so if you're expecting me to do fix your problems at 5 am in the morning then you've got another thing coming.
I guess give me a shout if you're willing to fill in a few details and want to have some input into it, then we'll form some sort of secret cabal in a group PM thing
My guess is that a) you've all gone to bed b) no one can be arsed to help
