The succesor to XT-20
?
-
• #1479
I think its due very soon, XT-20 shares the same sensor as XT-2, X-Pro2 so the next one will share the same sensor as X-T3

With fujifilms regular release schedule they're due a new X-Pro which i'm sure will have that sensor. I'd wait until next year to compare that and whatever sony come out with if i was looking for a rangefinder

In an ideal world I'd swap straight to an X-Pro3, but no idea when it's going to be out.
-
• #1482
What is wrong with your current X-Pro2?
-
• #1483
The eye-piece comes off every time you use the camera. It therefore costs £7 each time you use it.

Where do you get your eye pieces?
-

It’s just an opinion.
Sure it is!
But you're wrong !

Seems like a crazy reason to buy a new camera body.

It's one of those things that you might have to experience to realise how annoying it is.
Imagine that every time you ride your bike you will get a puncture, and that it will cost £7 to resolve, and that it is 100% inevitable, and that it is because your bike is poorly designed. No other bikes do this.

• #1489
Yeah that's fair enough I guess. None of my cameras have an eye piece so not something I can appreciate.

These can't be somehow glued on? How are they attached?
-
• #1491
No problems, let us know how you get on with it.

If you read the forums on this then people have very mixed results from gluing them in, most success from a glue+activator. Of course, this voids your guarantee.
-
• #1493
I assume it would void the warranty, but if that’s the only option for keeping a camera that you get on with...
Or are there other things that bug you about it? -
• #1494
I really like the camera apart from that, but I have precisely zero confidence in this problem being fixable. That the eyepiece hung on for a year is, once you've looked at it, amazing.

See if you can guess what I have tried already, and which did not work?

So no legit Fuji one?
I bought my camera 2nd hand and it had this eye piece. Not sure how the previous owner sticked it on there but it holds up really well. Even through carelessly throwing the camera in my bag on trips and rain and stuff.

Ok, then you should definitely buy a new camera.
Sorry I underestimated the severity of the situation.
Found one in immaculate condition, with all boxes for £1500 but yeah they're pricey.
