  • Further question : how can I clean epoxy off of my hands.

  • Abrasives. Acetone or MEKK will soften the epoxy, but it'll dissolve parts of it which will allow it to get into your bloodstream. This is not a good thing, as epoxy is carcinogenic.

  • Got any disposable pvc gloves?
Pop a couple of pairs on each hand.
    Electrical tape the wrists.
    Hands will soon get sweaty.
Keep the gloves on for a couple of hours, if possible.
Fingers will end up 'wrinkly' like spending too long in the bath.
Some of the epoxy will now rub off, (you do have Swarfega, or equivalent, with granules?).
Other lumps/areas of epoxy now much easier to remove.
If I end up with resin-ed hands, I use the above method, then use the blade of the scissors in a Swiss Army knife, to carefully remove the softened resin from the softened/waterlogged skin.
