Why the massive price difference though? Bronze isn't that more expensive than brass and the machining must be the same?
No idea really. Marine grade bronze Is about 20% more expensive than your average brass alloy I think.
Bronze is more resistant to corrosion etc. Maybe it's just more useful than brass.
Bronze ages better than brass though IMO. Makes your wrist less green also.
I think bronze patinas way better but you'd have to be pretty picky to notice.
The brass is way better value, I couldn't justify the bronze and Helson isn't a premium enough brand to justify the bronze price.
