• Not sure if this should here or rant thread etc...I had hoped to buy an Explorer i for my 30th birthday, ejay had even kindly put one aside in the Windsor shop for me to buy. Unfortunately I bought a loose diamond on the saleroom, which turns out had a fraudulent certification and so have been going through a process of getting a refund (still not complete) and have since had to re-buy a replacement stone, coupled with having to help out a couple of family members with stuff.
Appreciate that is a super first world problem post, I had been really looking forward to that watch. But I've found this thread has relaxed me and made me realise that these things are worth the wait and will last a lifetime.

  • Sorry to hear mate and probably to late to help but loose diamonds are the things we specialise in . We are really good at the watch thing , but fucking outrageously good at diamond jewellery, if I can help at all even just for advice message me.

  • Bad luck on the diamond. Just rest assured you’ve a) done the right thing b) got great taste and, most importantly c) not bored the tits off everyone fawning over a comedy wrist brick with a big red button on it.

  • that sucks man, bad luck. Hope you get it sorted, and the wait will be worth it!

  • Unlucky pal, I had a rocky road with a vintage Tiffany engagement ring I bought the now wife, had to take the jeweller to the small claims court. Hard to believe sometimes there are more important things than watches.

@Mr_Sworld that looks great although I find the range of Seiko divers bewildering.
