Fair enough regarding breathable waterproof stuff I suppose. But for normal nice weather kit, I honestly have never understood what actual difference it makes. I mean sure, don't go for the cheapest option, you usually notice the materials being more crap. But above a certain price point... I don't know, I've tried it, and to me an s/l jersey is an s/l jersey. I would definitely consider spending more for a really cool design, but more often than not, the expensive stuff is exceedingly boring as well!
Just checked that brand out as I'd never heard of them - holy cow that is expensive. Honest question here, why is it worth it to you to spend that much?
I've had gear of varying quality, and honestly, I've come to this conclusion: as long as the fit is right (and that is not correlated to the price), the only thing I'm willing to pay a lot of money for is the pad. That is important. But jerseys for example? I've bought second-hand Castellis and never had a second thought about them, which in my mind means they work as well as they can. What actual upgrade does a jersey for >150 quid bring?
