I hope you are not calling the magnificently laterally stiff Spinergys 'noodly'. I raced on a borrowed pair once when they first came out, luckily the brake blocks stopped the rims hitting the frame.

No no, the top tube floatation device I was on about. I rode double spinergys for a short while. They made a horrible clicking noise like they were going to explode underneath me st any moment so I sold them on
