Took a while, but finally got this all tied up.
It actually fades from a super dark grey at the front to black at the rear, but it’s so subtle you only really notice it in person. I was a bit annoyed i didnt mix a slightly lighter grey fo a bit more contast to begin with, but the subtlety of the gradient is growing on me.
Stoked on the new 2.2 rims. Think they suit the build really well. Wish I’d gone for them instead of 3.4’s originally. yet to take it for a proper ride to see if they ride any different to 3.4 rims i had before though... i doubt they will feel noticebly different TBH. The weight difference is minimal.
Not 100% sold on the orange CK for this, but o can’t really be bothered to buy a new one TBH.
Black 9100 cranks would look pretty sick on it, but it was built with 9000 originally, and these ones still got plenty of life left, so that’s what it’s staying with.
