Stumbled on this post randomly... is this frame still for sale?
Would you ship to the US? (Buyer's expense, of course!)
Hi! For sell goes my Grandis Over Max frameset. It was my “best bike” last summer, but I didn’t really ride it that much. I guess that the thing with the best bikes. Anyway, I really liked it but now it’s time to move on. The frame is made out of tubing made exclusively for Grandis and is based on Columbus Max tubing. Rear seat stays are aero profiled, rear brake cable runs internally and exits top tube in sick way on the seat lug, there are planty of panto all over the frame. As this was a custom tube set the lugs are also custom.
It’s a race oriented frame with aggressive geometry. The measurements are:
Seat tube 55 cm
Top tube 55 cm
Head tube 15 cm
ITA bottom bracket, original 1 inch Max chromed fork.
The chromes are all good, there is no flaking, tho there might be some scratches here and there. There are no dents or cracks on the frame. Usual scuffs and scratches from every day use. There is quiet a deep 5 cm scratch on the top tube, also, someone used too fat of a tire and there’s a rub on the seat tube that goes right to the rough steel in a small area. The frame is fully chromed.
Included in the sale is Campagnolo Record headset (mid 90s era). I put it in after I got the frame and it was running good on a bike, but under a closer inspection the bearings are no longer perfect. Still perfectly useable though. ;)
Some pics:
Bought it for 400€ and that’s what I’d like to get back.
Cheers! ;)
