Homemade fairing.
Brakes are anchors and tractor tubs mind. Whose is it?

To me, these frames never actually look 'high spec' because there was a manufacturer who did a knock-off of this paint scheme quite a few years later. I can't for the life of me remember what they called them?

Front end so droopy.

• #6257
That's a ball-achingly portentous way to save 0.00087 watts.

Especially as it’s all crinkled up. Should have just duct taped the gaps.
-
• #6259
I do wonder if it's for waterproofing
-
• #6260
Would also make sense.
(I wasn't knocking your previous observation btw, more the bike itself) -
• #6261
Given the recent weather for south of England hill climbs I assume it’s for weatherproofing the power meter
-
• #6262
it was weatherproofing.
-
• #6263
Aren't they waterproof though?
-
• #6264
Except for the part that needs weatherproofing, the battery(cover)?
-
• #6265
Maybe they’re just protecting it and gunna return it at the end of the season

Next level slamming... Nice tough. I wonder how that'd look with SRAM eTap
-
• #6268
Still see a spacer that could be removed.

• #6269
Full slam

Isn't that cassette too big? Looks like a gravel biek. Frame is ace tough
-
• #6271
I knew you had my back!
-
• #6272
Isn't that cassette too big?
Isn't that the point of 12-speed? Wider range cassette with the same jumps between the cogs as current 11-speed cassettes.

it's an 11-32, i think the fact it's the only silver part is making it stand out like a sore thumb! making it look massive

11-32!!! Is that normal nowadays
I'm out of touch with geared bikes but that sounds bonkers. Back in the 90's everyone ripped the piss out of me for riding the Pyrenees on 42 x 23
Hill climb?!
