I'd not noticed that before
Can't remember the name of the designer; it was not Rahms but another German guy, that played a major role in designing the Makina.

I dropped my Mamiya 7 with Aperture to recaliberate rangefinder
..what for? You're not using the thing to take any photos anyway, right?

Shot a velvia 50 that turned out to be quite nice (wont share here obvs) but the 80mm had some focussing disparity at open aperture .. first roll on the 80mm .. disappointing

Anyone got experience with half frame? Any cameras under ~50 quid worth considering?
-
• #17713
Yes. I'm actually selling a Canon Sureshot Multi Tele, great half frame / 35mm camera and in perfect condition.
I was looking for £60.

I'm using a PEN-EE2, which I think can be found for cheap.

Olympus Pen reflex or compact (D) are cool. Yashica Samurai is the more advanced technologically.

These are lovely but the camera is a little out of my budget. I ended up impulse buying a Fujica Half on fleabay just now
Tips on shooting half frame? Will I need to tell the developers to do anything different in regards to scanning the images? (probably filmdev)

I might be convinced to sell this RB67 once I have finished replacing all the light seals and bellows. Don't like it as much as my Rolleicord.
It was £1999 with 80mm
its still there: https://ffordes.com/product/18101211193981
