On my 650b conversion I had a lot of pedal strike initially even with V6s, which are the nylon body version of the new, thinner DMRs. Then I got used to it somehow and no more scraping. Also all the outside pins ground off. Plastic pedals are a bit less scary in that regard.
Could always use 3M reflective tape on something thinner?
Still annoyed that the compact/concave version of the VP Harrier doesn't seem to be available. Looks like the perfect touring pedal.
Looks like the V6 are available with a weird integrated reflector, may be worth trying. Other option is to go from 172.5 to 165 cranks which would probably make all the difference, but ++ expense and hassle...
