Just another big up for Shure 425s. I've had them for a while but I tend not to use them that much day to day as I find the isolation a bit too good when I'm working or driving and I'd be a bit concerned about damaging them if I wore them working (not that they're fragile but I've gone through a few pairs of earphones snagging the cable on things and then standing on them when working in a tight spot).
However, I've been using them a lot all this week on holidays and they really are very very good indeed! I'm still deciding which ear covers I find the most comfortable but the sound quality/ clarity is absolutely lovely and really nice balanced bass. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Thanks for the suggestion. I bought some 2nd hand Shure 315's and am stunned by the quality. Although I've never had anything better than UR Beats previously, these Shure are almost as good as my old Leak valve amp stereo set up.
