I'd maybe look at using something like 3m tape instead, but yeah you've definitely removed it :)
Normal headphones have a lip on the edge that a flap of fabric stretches over which makes them easy to replace, but I recon you should be fine now. Maybe see if you can free the plastic disc in the ear cup now and use that to fit a replacement around.
These are nice but a bit pricey. Obv. check what dimensions you need.

They look removable to me!
Surely with a bit of knife and glue action I could make something work - I'd just need the measurement of replacement pads.
