Stick the forks upside down then use the pointy end of a zip tie to make a gap between the seal and the upper leg. See what if anything comes out. Should be clean thick oil.
I’d ride them. They probably need a lowers service and new damper oil.
Thanks for this, I just rode them anyway and they were fine (felt a bit divey though - but they've always been like that). Will have a look at servicing them when I get more time.
