Interesting Kessels article on dating the frames. It would appear that this one is 77'-78' version 3-

Not an eBay or craigslist find, but spotted this track beast in cash convertors, Leith Walk, Edinburgh.
Seems like the owner couldn't find a buyer so took a hit and left cash converters to sort that out.

XXL canyon that's never been ridden?!
I would say it's stolen if it didn't sound like the description bad been written by the vicar from Postman Pat.

Hello All, this might be a bit ambitious but just spotted this job lot of bike lockers going cheap. There's six of them being sold as a job lot, located just past Richmond, and I was thinking if there is enough of us interested maybe we could buy them as a group and split them accordingly? The logistics wouldn't be the easiest but doable, thoughts? I just had my third bike nicked (sort of) in two years and have had enough of using the public bike rails near my home, so one maybe even two of these would be ideal.

I'd take two if we can work logistics...

Nice one, that's the spirit, whereabouts are you based Quincy? I've messaged the seller to check how easily they can be dismantled for transport, all being well then it'll just be a case of renting a van... I think I'm going to take just the one locker, so that's three more we need taking, anyone?

I live in Upminster currently. On reflection, this is complicated by the fact that I have no where to put these until the end of November (when I move house).

Upminster, ironic as the lockers are actually nearby in Brentwood while I'm across London in Docklands. According to the seller the four sides of each locker come apart so could be stored flat with the roofs on, would you have space for them like that? I think I can talk my brother into taking one, so we'd still need a couple of other takers anyway, so no bother if not, Ill ask around. I was looking at buying one of those Asgard ones, but they were coming in at around £500, so these 6 at £400 seem a mad bargain.

These things are really quite good btw. Of course stuff can be stolen out of them, but they are sturdy and well built.
