Interesting idea - didn't properly realise that replacement pads would be available. Have you got a source?

Just had a look,

Turning to the inside of the ear cups, we get a look at the ear cushions. These are covered with faux-leather and are not removable.

Which is disappointing, so no dice there unfortunately

They look removable to me!

Surely with a bit of knife and glue action I could make something work - I'd just need the measurement of replacement pads.
