Wot forks?

Could be air passing in and out of the stantion seals. Does it sound a bit wheezy?

Yeah, wheezy. It's a Rockshox Recon Silver I think.

I'm first owner of the bike and it's not had a hard life, I'm still on the original chain/tyres/etc to give an indication of mileage

Did it get very wet? You need to be a bit careful with those because the upper legs can corrode.

If it is air blowing past the leg seals that’s bad because means other stuff can get sucked in.
