Places in the markets are good. I'd recommend Santa Caterina Market rather than the big one off Las Ramblas, it's a bit quieter for a little one. La Paradeta, fresh seafood place where you choose what you want from the fresh display and they cook it.
Tapeo was good for modern tapas (you'll probably need to book), also Pla restaurant.
If you're looking at going to the Sagrada Familia then I'd book online in advance. It was sold out when we headed there and when we tried to book online it was booked up for the next few days.

Bit further afield, but any recommendations for eating in Barcelona, family Blackfoot is heading there for a long weekend, so we’re probably looking at places the three of us can go, Blackfoot jnr is 5mths.
