Not a fan of this at all. Looks like a huge mess. GMT complication is necessarily busy, but this is just badly executed IMO. The stubby GMT hand, the stubby and awful shaped hour hand, the second hand and minute hands are too long, the date window is too small, the end links and bracelet look wrong.
I’m not a designer, but I’d like to hear a designer’s opinion, positive and negative.

The bracelet and end links are a real highlight in terms of quality of finish. I dont like beads of rice bracelets but the ones on the speedbirds are next level if you like that sort of thing.

The stubby hour hand is taken from the original MoD pilot watch spec, and is possibly a matter of taste - I love it. The bracelet and end links are great, and the whole thing is really well made; from people that have owned both, the Speedbird is about 90-95% as good as an IWC flieger, but at 10% of the cost.
The GMT is a bit busy for my tastes, which is why I didn't buy one, but I don't think it's terrible. -
The style of hands is from the original MoD watches, particularly the MK XI
As others have said, in reality the end links and bracelet are great quality, easily up there with something twice the price.
Personally I found the non-GMT version too sterile and like the busier dial, particularly the touch of orange, but I can see why some wouldn't.
