Really?
Why now..? -

No idea. Maybe not. Who knows.
My caad sounds like a bag of spanners on rough roads. Rear brake cable rattles in the chain stay -

Have you just had the frame?
I’ve read that sometimes lose pieces of the moulding process are left inside tubes. A way of finding out is by grabbing the frame and shaking it.
It did happen in steel frames when some brazing pieces ended up lose inside and you can hear them. -

Hmmm. It sorta makes sense but at the same time it’s not done it previously...

Nah had it about a year and only recently heard it

I had this problem & wrapped some cables with electrical tape where they rattled against the handlebars. Toned down the sounds a little.

Shaking doesn’t replicate the sound

drop the bike from 6 inches high

Nothing.

Perfect, there's no problem

Don’t ride it. It’s then quiet.

Drop it from 6 feet?
So I have a noise that appears when on rougher surfaces and at higher speeds. It sounds like something is knocking as it’s a clunky sound, the frame is carbon fibre.
I’m thinking either the B.B. or the headset?
Any other suggestions or ways to further investigate this?
