Nearly happened!
Mate, now resident in South West France, had a stand at an exhibition in Toulouse the following Sunday. Timings just didn't quite work out.
Had made vague plans* to fly out to visit him and cycle it home.
*plans in this case pronounced; 'idle day-dreaming'.
