  • @jontea @edscoble thanks for this, have to admit I wasn't aware a big jump on the front rings could overload the system. Think I'll replace the rear mech and just keep this in mind, especially when fully loaded.

    I'm sure like a lot of people using all rear cogs before changing the front becomes second nature after time.

    I will be rebuilding it at some point to be more like yours, except with 700x35 G-One

  • Good to see, such a great bike. I know it's not the lightest and the headtube could be longer (personally) but it does most things really well. Think I've settled on 38mm wide tyres, as I've gone to the effort of converting to 650b it feels a bit pointless going really narrow but do like the extra mm's when going off the road.
