I believe every right thinking Belgian dreams of building their own, unique home at some point in their life. Uniformity is not an option.

Home are seriously proud affairs for Belgians. It’s always impressive.

I live in Luxembourg and it’s the same here. Anyone who can afford to has their house built rather than buy an existing one. Other than the flats of course.. there are shitloads of them.
