I am pleased that Newcastle didn’t get any points yesterday and are languishing deep in the relegation zone with only two points after eight games. Not because of Benitez but because of Ashley. He deserves nothing but relegation and Newcastle supporters deserve to be rid of him.
It has the added bonus that ManU will not come to Stamford Bridge in two weeks’ time with the benefit of a “new manager surge”.
